Black Lives Matter. Right now, police brutality, white supremacy, and state-sanctioned militarism are on full display in this country, and we will not be silent. Not now, not ever.
We say their names: Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Tony McDade, and countless others. Their lives matter. And at Kindreds, we are committed to doing the work of anti-racism– and dismantling white supremacy–in our own lives, in our work as non-profit leaders, and on this show. This looks like:
- Working together to create groups for studying Me and White Supremacy by Layla Saad
- Showing up with communities of faith to protest police brutality, white supremacy, and state-inflicted militarism
- Amplifying Black voices on our show, on Instagram, and with our white colleagues, friends, and family members
- Dismantling white supremacy within ourselves, our families, and our organizations
Let’s get to work.
