We finally did it. We are talking about GRIEF. For a long time we’ve been saying that we need to record an episode about this heavy topic, but we’ve just been too mired in it ourselves to talk about it publicly. We’re finally ready, and we have so much to say that we’re making it a two-parter.
For Part 1 “Navigating Grief: Naming and Claiming,” we talk about what exactly grief is (thanks to Brene Brown for the helpful breakdown in her latest book Atlas of the Heart), what some of the different types are, and how no matter the source, your grief is valid.
Bottom line: whatever it is, you’re allowed to call it grief.
